Simon Cowell is working hard to make sure that the American version of his show, X-Factor, will be a huge success.Â After reports surfaced that Mariah Carey is in negotiations to be on the show, The British press has leaked that Brian Friedman is the first official signing of the show.
Brian is currently working with Simon Cowell on a number of his shows in roles created specifically for Brian.Â This includes the UK Version of X Factor.Â Brian serves as creative director and has been a judge for the show.Â He also has served as the crative director on America’s Got Talent.Â Brian and Simon’s work collaboration dates back to 2003, when Simon brought Brian onto the UK’s Grease is the word.
Brian has an extensive portfolio of celebrity clients including:Â working with Britney SpearsÂ on Toxic, Slave 4 U, and multiple tours, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Usher, Dirty Pop with *NSYNC, and The One with Prince.Â He has created famous routines that are recognized all over the world.Â He also served as a judge and choreographer on the Fox reality show, So You Think You Can Dance.
The British publication, The Mirror, reported that Brian will work backstage on the American X Factor and spoke with Brian about his new role.Â “It’s going to be huge.Â I can’t wait.”
In addition to Mariah Carey being a possible judge on the show, Live to Dance star and judge Paula Abdul teased that you might see her turn on up Simon’s show.
