The Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky recently got her own happy ending when she became engaged to Roberto Martinez on the season finale of her show. Now, she is sharing her favorite romantic movies in hopes of fighting breast cancer.
Ali and Roberto are a part of a cause headed up by Warner Brothers’ Movie Charity Campaign. The production company features a pink folder, pink being the color to represent breast cancer. Each time one of the 16 films is rented or downloaded on video or demand, a donation is made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. All of the movies are romantic movies, a cause Ali can definitely get behind.
Ali told CBS news that her favorite movies of the 16 are The Notebook, City of Angels, and Music and Lyrics. “This is actually the perfect date for Roberto and I. We just love sitting at home and watching movies and cuddling up!” Ali gushed about her fiance and said, “He is so great about being supportive about everything that I want to do and who I am as a person. I hope he feels I am just as supportive for everything he’s doing. I am so lucky. I am so blessed to have him.”
When the subject turned to her wedding plans, Ali said their plans for a spring wedding have changed. She recently revealed that they were slowing down their wedding plans. “We have barely skimmed the surface. There is no way we are going to plan one by then. I never realized how difficult it is to plan a wedding until you’re in it. We’re waiting a little bit. We really want to make sure we’re doing this right. Nothing has changed-we’re still just as happy as we were.”
