Danielle Staub of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey was surprised by a process server this Halloween who served her with a lawsuit from her ex-boyfriend right before she waltzed on to the red carpet at a New Jersey event.
The former star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was greeted by a barrage of fans when trying to exit her car for a Halloween themed event in Woodridge, New Jersey.
But to her surprise, one of those “fans” was actually a process server, acting on behalf of the star’s ex-boyfriend Steve Zalewski. Zalewski allegedly has filed a defamation lawsuit against Staub, claiming that the New Jersey Housewife  has repeatedly accused him of shooting a sex tape of her, without her knowing.
Staub still denies having any knowledge of being filmed on the tape, despite the fact that many people, including her former Housewives cast mates, believe that the tape looks as if it was professionally produced and that Staub seemed well aware of the presence of a camera.
Zalewski also served as a witness, testifying against Staub in yet another defamation suit that was recently brought against the former Bravo reality star by Kevin Maher, who claimed that Danielle Staub made defamatory statements about Maher’s alleged rape of Staub and the alleged killing of her dog.
Obviously no stranger to drama, Staub was shocked by the current suit, but still did not let if affect her evening. After receiving the envelope, she handed it to her publicist and continued on to the red carpet.
