Survivor: Nicaragua — The Merge Has Arrived

November 02, 2010 02:00 PM by Ryan Haidet

After weeks of battling as two separate tribes, Survivor: Nicaragua has finally reached the individual portion of the game.  That’s right, the merge has officially arrived!  No more Espada.  No more La Flor.  The blue and yellow buffs are getting retired with a fresh, new red for the castaways to wear.  What else is in store for the 12 remaining contestants?  Read on to find out more about Wednesday night’s upcoming episode!

As is tradition with the merge, the castaways will also share in a feast.  A CBS press release says the feast sparks a fight after the leftovers mysteriously disappear.  It’s a fight that CBS says could change the balance of power within the group.  But that’s not all, two castaways share a secret about the food that threatens to land them in the hot seat at Tribal Council.

Who is the culprit behind taking the food?  We shouldn’t be one bit surprised that this season’s biggest villain is behind the nastiness — NaOnka.  A preview video on CBS.com shows NaOnka stealing the food and stuffing it inside her own bag.

Taking a look at the new buffs, this marks the third time red has been used as the color for the merged tribe.  It happened first during Survivor: Amazon and again on Survivor: Guatemala — The Maya Empire.
