Despite reports swirling around the web, Bret Michaels of VH1′s new reality show Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It, denies that he and mom to teen queen Miley Cyrus had an affair. So is there any bit of truth to the shocking rumors? Read on and judge for yourself!

On October 27th Billy Ray Cyrus, country crooner, dad and co-star of Disney’s Hannah Montana, filed for divorce from his wife of 17 years, Tish. But what could’ve caused the seemingly happy couple to call it quits after all these years?

Rumor has it that VH1 reality star Bret Michaels could be to blame. Sources reveal that Bret and Tish got close after the rocker recorded “Nothing to Lose” with Miley. One insider says that, “It was a professional relationship that turned into something more.”

But Bret’s reps deny that there was ever any type of inappropriate relationship between the two.

“There has never been an affair or a fling,” Michaels’ camp tells Us magazine.

As for Tish–well, her people are also denying the rumors. Meanwhile, it’s being claimed that she cheated on Billy Ray with more than one man.

Billy Ray Cyrus is reportedly seeking joint custody of the couple’s children: Miley, who turns 18 this month, Braison, 16, and Noah, 10. The couple also have three older children from previous relationships.

Who’s telling the truth? Is there another man in the picture? We have a feeling this isn’t going away any time soon!

Brett’s newest reality show on VH1, Brett Michaels: Life As I Know It, premiered in October and airs on Mondays at 10|9c.
