Another Real World alum is making headlines this week…. Sean Duffy, who was one of the seven strangers picked to star in MTV’s Real World Boston in 1997, has made a big name for himself since his days on the reality show. What’s he doing now? Keep reading to find out!
Sean Duffy, former reality star “picked to live in a house” with six other strangers as cameras followed their every move on MTV’s The Real World Boston, is now getting to know some strangers in a different kind of house– the U.S. House of Representatives.
On Tuesday, 39-year-old Duffy was elected to congress during the midterm elections. Duffy, who formerly served as district attorney of Ashland County, Wisconsin, will soon head to Washington, D.C. as part of the new Republican majority in the House.
Much more grown up than when we last saw him (we hope), Duffy is married to Rachel Campos, another Real Worlder, who was a part of the San Francisco cast. The couple met on Road Rules: All Stars in 1998 and have five children together.
Campos-Duffy is also very politically involved, and was in the running as a co-host on ABC’s The View with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who eventually got the job.
But Duffy wasn’t the only former Real World cast member making news this week. Jamie Chung of The Real World San Diego has been cast to co-star in the Hangover 2. The 27-year-old actress will play the on-screen fiance to Ed Helms’ character, Stu, in the much anticipated sequel.
