The reality TV world was shocked to learn of the unexpected death of former Bachelorette contestant Julien Hug. As police work to gather details about the case, more and more words of support are being offered from Hug’s Bachelorette cast mates, like David Good of ABC’s The Bachelorette and The Bachelor Pad. Though details are slowly being released about the unexpected death of former Bachelorette contestant, Julien Hug who went missing on Monday, and whose body was found off Highway 74 in California’s Riverside County, friends and family of the reality star remember the adventurous 35-year-old and offer words of compassion to his grieving family.
David Good, friend and fellow contestant on Season 5 of The Bachelorette with Julien Hug, recently released a statement about Hug’s unexpected death.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to Julien’s family. I speak on behalf of myself and the entire group from our season of The Bachelorette, that he was a great standup guy.”
Good also tells RTVM, “Julien was always the first to offer to cook food in the house and the one to offer up one of his ‘funny’ jokes that were entirely too long but hilarious nonetheless. He will truly be missed!”
Good, winner of ABC’s Bachelor Pad and author of “The Man Code,” is not the only former Bachelorette alum offering condolences to the Hug family. Jillian Harris, the woman that both men were vying for on the ABC reality show, also released a statement saying that she will “always remember Julien’s gentle demeanor and kind heart, which will be sadly missed.”
