The Bachelor: Former Contestant Tara Durr Gets Married!

It’s another Bachelor/Bachelorette love connection! Tara Durr, former contestant of ABC’s The Bachelor, and John Presser, who competed on The Bachelorette, are married! Keep reading for all the inside info!
Tara Durr and John Presser of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, married on Saturday at Slammer and Squire Golf Course in World Golf Village. The bride and groom met on a reunion trip for former contestants of the show.
Though many details of the event were kept mum, Durr did reveal that she wore a dress with a sweetheart neckline that was form-fitting to the hips and flowed to the floor.
Many different designer options were available for the bride, and to keep things on the down low, she was flown back and forth for fittings, which Durr said was “like a dream.”
Despite having a little help from some friends in high places, Durr says that she did everything herself, except for one thing: “The only thing I delegated is the RSVP list to my mother,” says Tara.
And what a job for poor Mom! The guest list reportedly consisted of 600 people!
Presser, originally from Indiana, moved to St. John’s County in Florida just a week before the wedding, making it the first time that the couple has lived in the same state!
“We were on a plane almost every week,” says Durr. “If he hadn’t gotten the job, we would have had to move.”
The two will live together after their honeymoon in Thailand.
Both the bride and groom were eliminated in the first round of their shows, but are grateful for their Bachelor/Bachelorette experiences.
“It was an amazing experience,” says Durr of the hit reality show. “I got to travel to Italy for free.”
