Dancing With The Stars: Carrie Ann Inaba Shares Why She Thinks Bristol Palin Is Still Competing

November 12, 2010 08:00 AM by Lisa Princ

If you are as dumbfounded as most with Dancing With The Stars on ABC, watching as Kurt Warner was eliminated this week, and yet Bristol Palin who is consistently in the bottom still remains…. maybe Carrie Ann Inaba can shed some light on this for us. In a recent interview, Carrie Ann Inaba shares why she feels that Bristol Palin is still on the show and how she may possibly make it into the finals. Keep reading for all the details!

ABC’s Dancing With The Stars judge, Carrie Ann Inaba recently told PEOPLE why she feels that Sarah Palin’s daughter has not yet been eliminated despite her poor moves and even poorer scores. Carrie Ann says “Bristol Palin is somebody that I think most of Middle America and regular people can relate to. A lot of people come up to me and say, ‘I want to be on Dancing with the Stars. Why don’t they have a regular-people version?’ And I feel like that’s what Bristol Palin is. She’s a regular girl with normal problems and normal issues, and I think a lot of people look at her and see themselves.”

Carrie Ann Inaba then added “I think the Bristol Palin phenomenon is amazing. I feel like she’s very relatable to the average person. She’s non-pretentious, very relaxed, and sort of non-affected by anything in this dance competition right next to all these amazing celebrities.” And just when you thought it could not get any worse, it does as Carrie Ann shares that despite Bristol Palin’s mediocre performances America just might vote her into the finals. Personally, if you can’t get in on talent than what is the point of competing to begin with?

I read Carrie Ann’s (CA) comment on why she SAYS she thinks Palin Jr is still on in spite of the fact she can’t dance and doesn’t put real effort into learning. CA ADMITTED what most have said since the beginning by saying she thinks it’s because Palin Jr is just an average person “everyone” IDs with. CA added that Palin Jr is unimpressed by competing right next to amazing celebs. Well, CA. When stated Palin is just an average person, I nearly choked. One reason is because that means she has no business on a show titled, Dancing with the STARS! As you also stated, people have asked to have another show dedicated to average people. THAT’S the show this counterfeit “star”, Palin Jr, deserves to be on. Further, the reason she’s still on AND, as you point out, so cavalier competing against actual STARS who DO belong on the show is because she knows Mommy Dearest bought her enough votes (she CLEARLY does not deserve) from all those teapartiers that live to fulfill Palin’s every whim-in this case, her daughter cheating her way to the top no matter how undeserving, no matter the cost. Why should she apply herself when she knows the votes are already bought and paid for. Meanwhile, authentic stars-actually working hard to be the best they can be are getting kicked off because the “competition” is rigged! I’m curious. Who cheated to allow Palin Sr to use her daughter to get more free TV coverage than she’s already finagled from her groupies? Who else does Sarah owe a MAJOR favor to?
Oh. One more thing. Palin Jr is “average”, CA? Since when is it “average” to be the only daughter of billionaires, an unwed teen mommy with a nanny to be the primary caregiver to her son, has servants to do her bidding, has a mom with enough power over her groupy teapartiers to ensure enough undeserved votes every week to keep her on a show she should never have been allowed on in in the first place (though PR tries to make it sound like she is a female version of Tony Robinson when that couldn’t be further from the truth. And she could not be further from “AVERAGE” unless she was still the official Princess of Alaska-which she hasn’t been since Mommy Dearest left Alaska hanging in order to promote her book, make a movie, and make millions more to further her “political: career. And finally, let’s face it. Even Kate Gosselin tried and danced better than palin jr!

I understand why abc and the show, Dancing with the Stars is desperate to avoid the facts on how easily the results of their very popular show can be skewed to create a false positive if the worst dancer only has enough money and power to buy an overwhelming amount of phony votes (like stuffing the ballot box in Iran so Mr. ….Dinnerjacket could maintain power) for that ringer and get sincere, hard working and even the most extremely talented real stars/dancers thrown off in order to allow that ringer to continue in spite of her overwhelming lack of talent and work ethic. My question is that only the very best 3 dancers are left (though there should have been at least 7, maybe 8 AFTER loosing Palin Jr). So which of these 3 champions are going to be forced to leave next to ensure that Ringer Palin Jr can continue on to the end? I will continue to watch ONLY because I am very attached and enjoy Jennifer, Brandy, and Kyle so much and will continue to add my meaningless votes to the one I wish would win, knowing full well that when votes for the best 3 really cannot compete against stuffing the ballot box by cheating. But this is the second time the show has done this and next year I just won’t get started so I do not have to endure this amount of frustration, again. I will spend my time and energy watching Survivor, instead, where there is at least a playing field without outside politics tampering with the outcomes and against fair competition, talent.
