If you tuned in to the The Biggest Loser on NBC on Tuesday, you watched as fan favorite Aaron Thompkins got a little heated with fellow competitor Frado during the weigh in and also had some words of frustration as he was eliminated as a result of nothing more than game play. In a post elimination interview, Aaron talks about his elimination and his future plans. Keep reading for more details!
NBC’s The Biggest Loser was full of game play, drama and emotions this week as Bob Harper’s choice, Aaron Thompkins was eliminated despite his need to remain at the ranch. In a post elimination interview, this young dad talks about his pent up anger and says he let it out at the weigh in as he adds “After thinking about it, I’m not angry at what Frado and Brendan and Patrick and whatever, how they played the game. I had to realize that we all went into it for different reasons, and we all had different goals, and my goal was to get healthy for my son and my family and to grow as a person and be a better person and find out the reasons why I gained this weight. Other people, their goal, as Brendan had stated, they wanted to be in the finals. I mean, so, everybody had different goals, and I think everybody went after their goal. I can keep my head up knowing that I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish. I’ve grown as a man and made great friends in the process.”
Aaron Thompkins, who has lost a total of 128 lbs to date and continues his healthy lifestyle at home for his son, goes on to share that he and fellow contestant Jesse Adkins, whom he was paired up with in his final week remain good friends. Aaron also shared that a few of the contestants are looking to launch a non profit organization for families in need of healthy intervention. Aaron says “Basically what we’re going to try to do is raise money to send families to the Biggest Loser resort, set them up on the biggest loser meal plan and also set them up with the biggest loser club in order to kickstart a healthy lifestyle. Each cast member is going to select one family from their city, 21 families, and we’re going to try to pick 21 families to do this every year.” What a wonderful idea to go along with this season’s theme to “pay it forward”. We look forward to more details on this in the future!
