After a rocky first week with Calvin emerging as the early villain, week two of The Fashion House Ultimate Collection kicks off with the two fashion houses using the human body for inspiration. Luckily for fans of the drama, it looks like Calvin makes a few less friends, but oddly enough, gains one as well.
On the designers second day, Iman will welcome them to Bodies the Exhibition at the South Street Seaport in New York City to look within for inspiration. The designers will be instructed to design a collection based on the inner workings of the human body. Mike, in particular, will be excited by this task because he designs body conscious clothes and is inspired by anatomy. The designers will further be instructed to create a great look that compliments the rest of their fashion house’s collection. They will be given 45 minutes to plan their collections before Isaac Mizrahi comes by to critique their ideas.
Once the designers get to work, the tension among the House of Emerald Syx will build. But first, Tamara will surprisingly reveal that she feels a connection to Calvin because he’s talented and she has to believe he means well. However, the rest of Tamara’s team doesn’t seem to like the direction she is going in with her garment, as it relates to the rest of the team’s collection. Caesar observes from his sewing machine the infighting between House of Emerald Syx as Calvin and Tamara team up against Cindy and Golnessa over what they should do with one of the garments. He attributes it to a “communication handicap.”
