Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag (aka Speidi) of MTV’s The Hills may not have any money, but apparently, that minor detail didn’t get in the way of the couple’s decision to take another trip down the aisle. And this time, they said it wasn’t only real, but it was about them. Read on for all of the details.
Spencer and Heidi from MTV’s The Hills have had a few rough months. After their very public divorce and subsequent reconciliation (at which time they came clean about the fact that their very public divorce was nothing more than a publicity stunt), the reality TV couple announced that they were having financial trouble.
But just days after they admitted that they had blown million of dollars trying to “buy fame,” Speidi decided to head down the aisle for a third time. The two renewed their vows on Sunday in a beachfront ceremony in Carpenteria, California.
“It’s just me and my bride on a little secret beach with nobody else, and it’s just about her,” Spencer told Entertainment Tonight. “Last time it was about everything else, it was about drama, it was about ratings.”
“It was about everyone but us, so this is really our first wedding about Spencer and I and our love,” Montag added. And now, Heidi says that she’s finally able to “just be Heidi,” telling ET, “I’m just really enjoying every day.”
Oh, and in case you’re worried that this vow renewal thing put a strain on the couple’s bank account–don’t. According to Entertainment Tonight, everything for Heidi and Spencer’s ceremony was donated.
