Model and mommy, Cynthia Bailey of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta is working with her daughter, Noel, to develop a cookbook for kids with peanut allergies. Keep reading for more details!

Cynthia Bailey, the newest addition to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has a lot on her plate. In addition to starring on the hit reality show and traveling the world as a model, she’s also mom to 11-year-old Noel. But despite her busy schedule, Cynthia has found a way to fit in some bonding time with her daughter, and help other mom’s in the process.

Cynthia and her daughter are working together to develop a children’s cookbook for kids who have peanut allergies, like Noel.

“She has a peanut allergy, which seems to be very common in children of this generation for some reason and she’s also the pickiest eater in the world, so I decided to collaborate with her and do a cookbook,” Cynthia shared with Vibe magazine.

But don’t expect this to be a collection of gourmet meals fit for one of the high-powered Hotlanta Housewives. Bailey tells the magazine, “It’s something small, like maybe 25 recipes where I have her and the kids test out recipes or come up with recipes and it will be nut free. But it’s gonna end up being ‘The Pickiest Kid in the World Cookbook’ or whatever with illustrations and it will be Noel’s handwriting. I’m talking to publishers right now.”

So maybe the title could use some work, but Cynthia’s excited that the cookbook project will allow her to spend some more time with her daughter, which she admits is a constant struggle for the working mom.

“It’s really hard because I really–Noel is actually 11-years-old today [Nov. 8th] and her dad, thank goodness, is in Atlanta holding it down while I’m working. That’s the hard thing for me because me being a mother is the only job that I really do take seriously.”

But according to Cynthia, she keeps pushing on for her daughter, telling the magazine, “I have to focus on my career as well because that’s all for the greater good of Noel–me being successful–that’s how it works.”
