On this week’s episode of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, after 7–or 8, or 9 long months, Phaedra Parks is going to have her baby! But does the truth about how far along she really is finally come out? And Sheree Whitfield learns that Dr. Tiy-e isn’t as real as he claims to be. Keep reading for this and everything else you missed!

Tonight on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Phaedra and Apollo drive to Augusta, GA to have the baby. When meeting with the doctor, Phaedra she seems annoyed with the fact that the baby is going to force her to “sacrifice” who she is and what she’s used to doing.

Lisa Wu Hartwell makes another return (did she leave the show, or what?) to help Kandi Burress celebrate her 34th birthday at her clothing boutique, Tags. Kim Zolciak arrives with a large gift for Kandi–which turns out to be a custom wig, that looked (in Kandi’s words) “hookerish.”

Cynthia Bailey announces that Phaedra’s having her baby and she and Kim confront Dwight about the baby’s due date and who the father is. Kim gets all medical on Dwight (who knew?) explaining why a baby wouldn’t be delivered at 7 months for no reason, but Dwight doesn’t give the ladies any answers, and ends up walking away to get another drink.

NeNe Leakes decides that with her marriage possibly ending, it’s time to start trying to establish her independence (read: make some money), so she meets with a local television station about breaking into the entertainment world as a host. When asked who she’d like to interview, NeNe rattles off a long list of celebrities that she has ties with, including Tyler Perry, Mo’Nique, and Jermaine Dupree, and the station ends up giving her the job. (Is anyone else wishing they lived in Atlanta to see that show daily?)

Later, NeNe arrives at a brainstorming meeting with the entire TV station. Her first question: Do I get an office? Even more comical than NeNe working–NeNe working in a cubicle. NeNe impresses everyone with another list of celebrity names, but it’s up to her to actually convince one of those celebs to let her interview them on camera.

Back in Augusta, Phaedra and Apollo arrive at the hospital, and Phaedra is worried about germs, dying, the baby being kidnapped, and the tiny hospital bed, among other things. Kandi arrives, and Phaedra (with her mother watching) tells her how important it is to have a baby after you’re married, and with such wonderful timing, the doctor comes in and says that Phaedra is 40 weeks! 40 weeks!!!

Sheree Whitfield is having a graduation party for her children, and her ex-husband shows up. Sheree is upset because he missed the entire graduation.

Sheree, still in party-mode, decides to have a card party and invites the ladies and “The Love Doctor,” Dr. Tiy-E. Everyone arrives, including Lisa–again, except for NeNe, who’s running late. When she finally walks in, you can literally hear a record scratch when she sees and recognizes Dr. Tiy-E. She tells Lawrence that she recalled doing an event with Dr. Tiy-E years ago. Hmmm.

Kandi tells everyone that Phaedra was, in fact 9 months pregnant. Then, NeNe remembers how she knows Tiy-E and tells Sheree that “Dr. Muhammad” isn’t a doctor at all, and that he was involved in a huge scandal years ago, which Kandi suddenly remembers too. (They couldn’t have figured that out before the guy stuck his fingers in Sheree’s mouth?!)

The ladies and Lawrence then grill Dr. Tiy-E about his so-called degrees. Everyone has something to say except for Sheree, who’s trying to keep up with his lies, and must have noticed that he used air quotes when he said he had a PhD. Who does that?

At the hospital, Phaedra’s not making any progress, so the doctor decides to perform a C-section, at which time Phaedra says the best line of the night, “Childbirth is like the closest you come to death.” Ha!

Finally, the baby is born, and in true Phaedra form, when they show her the baby, she says, “Ew, gross,” and comments on the fact that the baby looks Chinese.

Hopefully, by the next episode, she’ll have adapted to motherhood a little.
