Brad Womack of ABC’s The Bachelor is answering more of your Facebook questions! What else did Brad have to say about what kind of woman he’s looking for, whether or not he’s ready to commit, and how he’s earning the women’s trust (after getting slapped, that is)?
Question #6: Why do you think you deserve a second chance?
I believe in second chances. I’ve given people in my life second chances. I believe that if people are truly, truly sorry for maybe making misakes along the way, I believe that if people have learned from those mistakes that anyone is entitled to a second chance. So, that’s why I think I really do deserve a second chance…
Question #7: Why should the women trust you this season?
We’re about mid-way through the season, and I’m going to admit it took a while for these women to start trusting me. Why should they trust me? It’s easy for me to answer that question now because I’m realizing every single one of these women here do trust me. …These women are trusting me because they are watching my true actions. I’ve been able to put, basically, my money where my mouth is. I started the very first night, asking begging these women to please trust me. I’m a changed man. They were skeptical. They’ve had the ability to trust me now, because they’ve seen my actions are speaking louder than my words. I truly have changed, the women are able to see it, so they’re trusting me.
Question#8: Are you ready to commit?
…America, you were right. I did have very severe commitment issues, I really did. Am I ready to commit? I’m so ready. …When–not if–when I find that one woman I will commit to her and only her for the rest of my life. Period. I’m just that way. So am I ready to commit? You’re damned right I’m ready to commit.
Question #9: What are you looking for in a woman?
I’m looking for a friend, I’m looking for a woman that I can trust. I’m looking for a woman that wants to commit. That we just have a relationship based on so many things other than the superficial nature of some of my past relationships. …A woman I can be myself around. A woman who can be herself around me–that’s even more important. I’m looking for a woman that doesn’t take herself too seriously. I’m looking for a woman who’s at ease being herself around me, because in return I’m going to do the same thing.
