The Hills: Emails Between Heidi Montag and Plastic Surgeon Revealed!

November 27, 2010 08:00 AM by Shayla Perry

In an interview with ABC, Heidi Montag of MTV’s The Hills claimed that her doctor, Frank Ryan, who died this year in a tragic car accident, pushed her to undergo multiple plastic surgery procedures. After much speculation as to why she would demonize the doctor she once called “an angel,” emails between Montag and Ryan have now surfaced, which seem to prove that the doctor did, in fact encourage her to have more work done, and often called upon Heidi to help increase his own celebrity status.

The emails, which were obtained by RadarOnline.com, span from April 15, 2010 through August 8, 2010.

In a message dated July 12th, Dr. Ryan writes: “Not sure if you are following me on Twitter, but could you mention to your followers that they may want to follow me? My web guy keeps bugging me to get more active on Twitter.”

Dawn DaLuise, a long-time friend of Ryan’s told RadarOnline in an exclusive interview, “I believe she had a crush on him. I believe she was romantically obsessed with him…she saw him as a knight in shining armor.”

But the emails between Montag and Ryan suggest that it was the doctor who was interested in pursuing Heidi, even if only to promote his services.

In another email, Ryan writes: “Can you wear the dr frank ryan eco-spa wear along with a dr frank ryan T that day? They are perfect for lounging or yoga or working out etc. I will bring some with me so you can change into them, if you dont mind.”

Seeming to support Heidi’s claims, Dr. Ryan often asks her about doing “injectables.”

In Montag’s interview on ABC, she admits that she had an addiction to plastic surgery, and claims that Ryan did not prepare her for the physical and emotional pain that she and husband Spencer Pratt would endure after the procedures.

“I definitely think I should have been way more informed,” said Heidi. “I think that doctors should really walk you through all aspects of it, not just the glamorous side of it. Doctors, it’s like they’re selling you cookies or something.”
