Okay ladies, prepare to get schooled! David Good of ABC’s The Bachelorette has written a book on one of his favorite topics–The Man Code–helping women to better understand “traditional guy’s guys.” And now, he’s getting set to kick off his Man Code book tour!
When David Good and his teammate, Natalie Getz, won the $250,000 cash prize on ABC’s The Bachelor Pad, Good mentioned that he planned on using some of his winnings to publish a book. Well, he wasn’t kidding…
Man Code: A Woman’s Guide to Cracking the Tough Guy, was written to help women crack the ever elusive “Man Code.” According to Good, “Understanding the code empowers women to get more out of their relationships with traditional ‘guy’s guys.’”
Now, Good’s getting ready to take his “Man Code” message on the road in a 100 city book tour!
Check out this excerpt from David Good’s book below and stay tuned for tour dates, cities, and locations to find out how you can see David in person!
“Just like iron sharpens iron, men sharpen other men. It’s how our character gets honed; it’s how we develop a unique language with one another. (This is, in part, why we have such a difficult time communicating our feelings to women–so often it seems they’re speaking an entirely different language. Ladies, have you ever tried talking to your dog, and all it does is tilt its head quizzically? It’s pretty much the same thing for humans, with men playing the role of the dog.) Iron must be in the presence of iron in order to become refined, and men need other men for that same reason. The process of sharpening my character started with my dad.”
David Good’s Man Code is available for $22.99 (or $14.99 for the ebook) at www.mancodebook.com.
