This week on The Amazing Race, the final four teams leave Hong Kong and head for North Korea. Brook comments that she would like to form an alliance with the North Koreans to take out the other remaining teams.
In the last episode of the Amazing Race, Phil warned Nick and Vicki that the next leg of the race would be greulling. Previously, Nick had a near meltdown when he and Vicki got off to a slow start. During the middle of a road block, Nick decided to quit and take a nap, and then berated Vicki for continuing to try and finish the task. Vicki decided she could not do the challenge alone and also could not force Nick to participate. The two ended up quitting the road block, but learned that even though they were in last place, they were in a non-elimination round and still in the race. They will have to perform an extra task, as well as take a six hour penalty for quitting. Will they be able to catch up with the other teams? Will Vicki be able to motivate her sour boyfriend?
The preview reveals what could be some very intense road blocks for the racers. Some of the racers are shown white water rafting on very strong rapids. Other racers are shown speed skating. Phil notes that some of the racers will sink and others will fall. Jill and Thomas are also shown running onto what appears to be a soccer field. As the final four teams complete the next leg of the race, anything could happen. Will any of the teams have an edge or will it be a fight to the finish? Tune in on Sunday to see who secures a place in the final round of The Amazing Race.
