Katherine McPhee from FOX’s American Idol is making a virtual Christmas carol for her new Christmas album, Christmas is the Time to Say I Love You, and she wants YOU to be a part of it! How? Keep reading for all the details and get ready for your close-up!
Now that Katherine McPhee’s new Christmas album, Christmas is the Time to Say I Love You, has been released, Kat’s working on spreading some more holiday cheer by creating a virtual Christmas carol to the song “Jingle Bells,” and she wants all of her fans to get in on the fun!
How do you get to be in the video?
It’s simple. Just grab a video camera or web cam and go to Katherine McPhee’s YouTube video, which gives you the lyrics to the song in karaoke style. Then, record yourself singing along with McPhee and send it in. You can record the video by yourself, or include all of your friends and family. It’s up to you, and according to the website, everyone’s video will be used–assuming it meets the guidelines. (See the YouTube video by clicking here.)
Video submissions will only be accepted until Tuesday, December 7th, and must be emailed to KatXmasCarol@gmail.com.
The video can’t be any larger than 25MB in size, and though it doesn’t state it anywhere, we’re pretty sure that all videos must be appropriate–meaning, nothing that you wouldn’t want your mother to see! So keep it clean, people!
