It’s been a long week, but finally, we get a new episode of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! And what an episode it was! A bit of a break from the drama of the last few episodes in NYC, (we all needed a breather after that!); and now that everyone’s back in the 90210, there’s love in the air!
Kim Richards is finally ready to start looking for a man to share her life with, and to help her prep for her upcoming blind date, her sister, Kyle Richards takes her to get a special facial that involves electricity!
Lisa VanderPump has a special friend in mind for Kim, her husband’s close friend, Martin, who doesn’t want children, and usually goes for the tall, brunettes–like Kyle! Nonetheless, he agrees to meet her.
Taylor Armstrong takes her daughter, Kennedy, to the doctor, because she seems to have an allergy (like, an eyes-swollen-shut-every-morning and rashes-on-the-skin kind of allergy), and it looks like it has something to do with the new puppy. (Ruh-roh!) We all know that Taylor didn’t want the dog to begin with, but she’s not thrilled about having to take the puppy away from Kennedy after she’s gotten so attached to him either. And who does she blame? Russell.
Meanwhile, Kim and her daughter, Kimberly, go to lunch and talk about her (Kim) dating again. Kimberly admits that when she was younger, she used to try to terrorize Kim’s dates, but says that now that she has her own life, she’s okay with Kim having one too.
In the world of Camille Grammer, she and her “House Manager” are busy shopping for a dress to wear to the Tony Awards, for which Kelsey’s been nominated, and according to Camille, that means that it’s also her night. She tries on a few gowns and settles on one–but not without first listing all of Kelsey’s awards and achievements, again.
At the Maloof home, Adrienne and Paul are celebrating their anniversary, and Paul has a special evening planned. His first surprise for Adrienne (and probably, a little for the cameras) is a harp player (“harpist”?), fine wine, and fondue, then a candlelit dinner at home. The entire evening is quite awkward, until Paul’s big surprise arrives–a dog, from Germany, which Adrienne LOVES! Good job Paul, but what is it with the husbands on this show and the dogs for gifts?!
And speaking of dogs…
Taylor and Russell have a talk about Kennedy’s puppy. Russell feels like the dog should stay, but Taylor is torn, and most of all, angry with Russell for putting them in the situation they’re in.
It’s time for Kim’s date, and the gang’s all there–except for Camille. When Kim finally arrives in “all out Kim style” (read: a leopard print dress with lots of cleavage), she and Martin try to avoid the awkwardness of the evening.
Kim disappears for a LONG time and comes back with another man! She says that he just escorted her back, and that’s it. The next time she has to leave the table, Martin is sure to do the escorting himself. They seem to hit it off at the party, and looked very cute together as they held hands leaving.
The next day, Taylor and Kyle meet for lunch and Taylor admits that she and Russell’s relationship isn’t what she wants it to be, saying that they’re “great business partners” rather than friends. Yikes!
Looks like there’s trouble in the Armstrong home.
