He earned his BFA from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago and went on to work as Creative Director for Zabari in New York City. In 2000, Calvin opened his own store, Sac Boutique, in Chicago. In addition to running his stores, Calvin continues to present his own designs and styles at various fashion shows.
Calvin’s designs have been featured in The New York Times, Women’s Wear Daily, Lucky Magazine and Cosmopolitan. They have also been spotted on Hollywood actresses Drew Barrymore, Brooke Shields, Gina Gershon and Piper Perabo.
