It is finally time for the season finale of The Amazing Race.Â As host Phil Keogahn points out, it has been a crazy season of highs and lows.Â The season started off with a bang, with the watermelon shot heard around the world.Â Now the three remaining teams have a chance to win one million dollars.
Phil points out that history could be in the making, as there are two all-female teams in the finale.Â An all-female team has yet to win The Amazing Race.Â Will the high-spirited home shopping network hosts outsmart the determined doctors or will it be the last man standing?Â Earlier in the season, Jill and Thomas U-turned Brook and Claire because they found them to be the biggest competition.Â However, Brook and Claire pointed out that Nat and Kat have won multiple legs and pose a bigger threat.Â It seems that all three teams are equally matched headed into the final leg of the race.
The preview of the finale shows high energy and excitement, with a shot of Jill and Thomas bungee jumping together off of a bridge.Â Someone exclaims, “This is awesome.Â This is what the race is about.”Â The preview also shows Brook and Claire joking around during a challenge and saying, “Pedicures will be next.”Â Brook and Claire do get serious, however, as Brook says, “We could be first or we could be last.Â This could go either way.”
Phil also points out that an exciting announcement for next season will be made.Â Tune in to see which team wins The Amazing Race and if history is made on CBS this Sunday, December 12 and for the show announcement!
