For years Survivor held a tight grip on Thursday night television as it clobbered nearly every network each week. When CBS officials announced Survivor was being moved from Thursday nights to Wednesday nights for this season, many fans thought it was a risky move. But CBS proved the decision was a good one as the ratings have been consistently strong since Survivor: Nicaragua premiered in the middle of September.
