In last night’s season finale of The Apprentice on NBC, the final two contestants, Brandy Kuentzel and Clint Robertson continued their final challenge and faced Donald Trump in the boardroom for the last time. Which contestant became Donald Trump’s newest Apprentice?
At the conclusion of the two part season finale of The Apprentice, Donald Trump chose lawyer Brandy Kuentzel from San Francisco over the “CEO in a box,” Texan Clint Robertson.
“You both deserve to be here,” Donald Trump told Brandy and Clint on last night’s finale, which featured stars Liza Minelli and Kathy Griffin.
When it came down to it, Brandy’s strategy to use some old fashioned butt kissing seemed to pay off in the boardroom.
“I would really learn a lot from you and I think maybe, maybe I could teach you something along the way,” said Kuentzel “Maybe it’s time to learn with somebody who’s the next generation of the Trump name.”
With that, Donald Trump turned to Clint Robertson and said those dreaded two words as only he (and some really good Trump impersonators) can: “You’re fired!”
But with this finale receiving the lowest ratings in the show’s 10 season run, could Brandy Kuentzel be the last “regular” Apprentice?
When The Apprentice returns, it will feature another celebrity cast which includes supermodel Niki Taylor, David Cassidy, Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath, Oscar winning actress Marlee Matlin, Grammy winning rocker Meatloaf, Richard Hatch of Survivor, singer Dionne Warwick, country singer John Rich, La Toya Jackson, Playboy Playmate Hope Dworaczyk, actor Gary Busey, baseball star Jose Conseco, NeNe Leakes of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, former co-host of The View, Star Jones, soap star Lisa Rinna, and rapper Lil Jon.
Celebrity Apprentice is currently scheduled to air Sundays on NBC starting in March 2011.
