To say that Jen Carroll was upset after her shocking elimination in the last episode of Bravo’s Top Chef: All-Stars would be a bit of an understatement. She was more surprised than anyone to be packing up her knives so early in the competition, and had no problem with letting everyone know that her elimination was complete “bulls–t.” But despite her rants both on and off camera (gotta love a hot mic), Jen Carroll says that she meant no disrespect to judges Tom Collichio, Padma Lakshmi, Gail Simmons, and Katie Lee Joel.
“I have so much respect for the judges and my fellow chefs and truly did not mean any disrespect to any of them,” Jen tweeted after her elimination.
But her tweet was far more calm than her exit video, in which she said several times that her elimination was “bulls–t.” The other contestants expected Jen to make it all the way to the last episode of the competition–and apparently, so did she.
In her exit video Jen did manage to show some class by refraining from talking about who should have been eliminated after the museum challenge, but many people have at least one name in mind. (Here’s a hint: It starts with a “J” and rhymes with “Jamie”–wait, did we give it away?)
The judges admittedly had a hard time deciding what to do about Jamie’s decision to leave in the middle of the challenge to get two stitches, but Tom Collichio explained that Jen herself said Jamie’s not being there had no impact on the outcome of her dish, which made the judges’ decision easier.

What do you think? Do you agree with Tom Collichio, and the rest of the judges? Or should someone else have been eliminated?
