The Biggest Loser on NBC is back tonight for the season ten finale as the final four return tonight after weeks at home to first reveal if Ada or Elizabeth make it into the final three and who will take home the ultimate prize. Who do you think it will be? You may be surprised at the outcome, keep reading to find out who won season ten and don’t forget to register to win The Biggest Loser Dessert Cookbook!
NBC’s The Biggest Loser season ten finale kicks off as Ali Sweeney brings out both Ada and Elizabeth to find out which one will be moving on and which one will be competing for the at home prize. Ada looks amazing as she comes out and shares how much support she is getting from her family now while Elizabeth does not look much different than when she left the ranch. Then Ali pulls out the envelope to reveal that Ada was voted into the final three by the viewers – finally Elizabeth loses her free pass! Elizabeth will get her chance at the home prize however as Ali then brings out eliminated contestants Adam, Tina and Allie for the first weigh in for the at home prize.
After Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels came out and shared how much they love their jobs on the show, it was time to start weighing in for the at home prize of $100,000. Adam, who looks absolutely amazing was the first to weigh in and he lost a total of 182 lbs or over 45% of his body weight. None of ladies could keep up as Elizabeth lost 71 lbs, Allie lost 74 and Tina lost 72. Then we met a few of the upcoming season eleven contestants including a former Olympic medalist and a woman who struggles with multiple miscarriages and infertility due to her weight.
Then it was time for weigh in’s on The Biggest Loser season ten finale and next up were Brendan, Sophia and Lisa. Brendan looked to be Adam’s biggest competition thus far but wound up losing 117 lbs which was not enough to beat Adam. Neither Lisa who lost 97 lbs nor Sophia who lost 65 lbs could top Adam’s lose but it wasn’t over as Anna, Jesse and Burgandy were up next. Anna lost 109 lbs while Burgandy lost 64 lbs and Ali informed Jesse that he needed to lose at least 167 lbs to beat Adam and Jesse lost 166 lbs, coming one pound shy of beating Adam. Rick, Aaron and Jessica were up next to weigh in and despite Aaron losing 172 lbs it was not enough since he started as the heaviest contestant this season. Jessica lost 92 lbs and looked gorgeous, but Rick lost 165 lbs for the highest percentage beating Adam out of the top spot.
After meeting another season eleven pair, a father and son team and being informed that there would be two new trainers joining in alongside Bob and Jillian for the new season it was time for one final weigh in for the $100,000 at home prize. Mark was the last but not least to weigh in and I think most of us could tell immediately that he was probably going to win, he looked like a completely different person. Mark, who moved to another state to get much needed support in his journey hopped on the scale and lost an amazing 213 lbs, pushing Rick out of the top spot and giving him the title of The Biggest Loser at home and $100,000. Congratulations to Mark, you look phenomenal!
Then it was time to bring out the three season ten finalists on The Biggest Loser. We already saw Ada, but out came Frado and Patrick who both looked super slim and healthy. Frado got to choose the order of the weigh in since he had the highest lose to date on the ranch in percentage and he chose to weigh in himself first, followed by Ada and then Patrick. So how did our finalists do? Here are the results of the final weigh in:
from 367 lbs to 205 lbs for a total loss of 162 lbs (44+%)
from 258 lbs to 159 lbs for a total loss of 99 lbs (33+%)
from 400 lbs to 219 lbs for a total loss of 181 lbs (45+%)
That makes Patrick the winner of The Biggest Loser season ten with the highest percentage of weight loss. Congratulations to Patrick, well done!
