“Whether we can have kids or not have kids, I think we’re open to everything, ” E! News host, Giuliana Rancic, told People magazine on the set of the couple’s NIVEA video shoot. “And whether we adopt or use a surrogate, or have our own natural child, I think at the end of the day, the most important thing is you have a baby, and it’s a baby you’re going to shower with love.”
Earlier this year, Giuliana and Bill were thrilled to discover that they were pregnant, but weeks later, doctors informed the couple that Giuliana had suffered a miscarriage.
After the miscarriage, Giuliana and Bill took a long break from fertility treatments, but decided to give it a try once again.
“She was so stoic and brave, and she never complained about any of the shots or anything we had to go through,” said husband, Bill Rancic. “This experience has given me a new perspective on my wife.”
And as they work to strengthen their relationship and start their own family, Giuliana and Bill Rancic are also teaming up with NIVEA to help other long-distance couples come together on New Year’s Eve.
“We are constantly spending time apart for our careers,” said Bill. “So we know how much it means to make the time we have together special, and we want to help other long-distance couples do the same.”
