December 20, 2010 11:00 AM by Shayla Perry

UNDERCOVER BOSS

Know someone that deserves to be recognized for their hard work? There’s still time to nominate them for Undercover Boss‘ Employee of the Month sweepstakes, and enter them for the chance to win $5,000! Keep reading to find out how!

CBS and the hit reality show Undercover Boss are teaming up to recognize some very deserving people. For the next few months, you can nominate someone you know to get some recognition for his or her hard work–and a chance to win $5,000!

Here’s what you need to know…

First, you have to register with CBS in order to submit your nomination. If you’re already registered on the network’s website, then you’re good to go.

Next, submit a picture of the person you want to nominate and a 30 second video telling why you think he or she should be selected as Employee of the Month.

Then, tell everyone you know to go to the Undercover Boss website to watch your video and vote for it.

Each month, CBS and Undercover Boss will select winners to be recognized, and each winner will be entered for a chance to win $5,000!

How’s that for a bonus?!

A few rules (you know there are always rules!)…

The person you nominate must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 18 years old at the date of entry.

The video entries can be uploaded until 5:00pm PT on April 20, 2011. The final voting period ends at 5:00pm PT on May 13, 2011.

I wish to say that your story on the undercover boss Joseph Depinto the CEO of 7 elevin is a liar and fake. My brother was fired from his company because after he worked for 7 elevin for 10 years and then he found out he had stage 3 colon cancer they terminated him and took away his insurance and left him out to dry, and now he is 100,000 thosand dollars in debt and he can not help support his 5 kids and wife. And yes he worked all the way untill he found out of his condition and he told his boss and then after the surgery to remove a 20 pound tumor from his stomach he was trying to go back to work and he was told that he was no longer needed. I f you have questions you can reach me at anytime night or day and my number is [702-376-5185]

I would like to nominate Kohl’s Department Store to be a focus of Undercover Boss. Kevin Mansell, Wesley McDonald and Donald Brennan would be 3 of the top exec’s I would like to see on TV. The reply letter I got was from an underling therefore, I know they never saw my complaint. So here is a wake up call for them so to speak! As a customer for over 13 years they would not allow me to use my merchandise credits toward another GIFT card in their own store. In these hard economic times, one would hope a nationwide retailer would allow someone to take about $30 in merchandise credit and add $20 more to give a nice gift for a niece’s birthday. But no, it is a POLICY. So maybe they could get the take from a customer’s point of view as well, therefore I nominate them. Carol Pittsburgh PA YES I closed my account!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to see the CEO of Energizer on undercover boss. I think the execs need to see what we actually do in the field for them despite our professional and personal hurdles we have to overcome every single day. It is not easy being a single mother, working full time and going to school full time and I do not feel the CEO understands what we have to give up in order to make money for them.

    Carol,
I find your comment interesting as it does not make any sense. EVERY business has policies to follow for a reason. Gift cards can be used to buy gift cards. A merchandise credit is for merchandise only. This is kind of a given with their names. Kohl’s offers special gift cards that can be used to pay your Kohl’s charge bill as they support charity and local schools. As a whole, no you cannot pay the BANK with a gift card to wipe your charge balance clean. Do you even realize that when you write the check to Kohl’s for your bill, it technically belongs to the bank. We are like a third party taking money for you. This is common sense. I would love to see them nominated so they can see how consumers act in their store. They NEED to be MORE FIRM with their policies in FACT and start putting their foot down. The leniency is only punishing the honest. Kohl’s is a wonderful, family and community orientated store. It is time they step up and demand the respect from consumers.

I would like to see the ceo go on undercover boss. If more ceo’s went undercover it would help them to run a much better company. They depend on managment to run things and don’t know how some of the hourly employess’s are treated.
