Season Eight of Hell’s Kitchen on FOX wrapped up as Nona Sivley beat out Russell Kook in the ultimate culinary showdown. Russell Kook, who was deemed a villain during the season says he is not a bad person, but was made out to be on the show. Keep reading for more details!
That’s right, Russell Kook the season eight runner up of Hell’s Kitchen is now saying that he is not the villain he was made out to be on the show. In fact, a local newspaper recently reported that Russell said “That is not the way I am. My cooks know me as somebody fun-loving. I’m the ‘jokester’ in the kitchen!†in regards to how we all saw him on the show. While he didn’t come out and blame the show, he did go on to say “If I videotaped you for a month and a half, I could make you look like a bad person.â€
Now we all saw how he reacted after he lost, but what does Russell really think of Nona winning? “I can’t say one bad thing about her. She’s a true Southern belle. As for me, I think it just wasn’t the right fit maybe.†Nona actually confirmed that she and Russell have a special bond and she speaks to him almost daily. So what is next for Russell? According to him, he will be going back to his sous chef position at Florentine Restaurant where he worked prior to competing on Hell’s Kitchen. We haven’t gotten any word on the new season, but stay tuned because as soon as we do, we will report it back to our readers!
