The Bachelor: Former Bachelor Jesse Palmer Wouldn’t Go On Again

January 04, 2011 07:00 AM by Paula_Kosowski

Jesse Palmer doesn’t want a second chance at love–on reality TV, that is. ABC’s season 5 Bachelor told Parade Magazine he “wouldn’t do it a second time.” Read more to find out why…

The 32-year-old ex Bachelor and pro-football quarterback told Parade Magazine while the show was a great experience, it was only a fantasy that he wouldn’t want to relive.

Though Palmer wouldn’t go on the show again, he’s definitely in Brad Womack’s corner, supporting his second try on the Bachelor.

Palmer doesn’t hold Womack’s decision to not make a proposal against him, telling Parade Magazine: “Just because there are 25 girls in front of you doesn’t mean one of them has to be your wife.” He suggests Womack’s indecision simply meant he didn’t actually like any of the contestants enough to propose.

Palmer can relate as he said he didn’t actually propose to Jessica Bowlin in real life,  though they did date for some time.

Palmer said his time on the Bachelor did have some benefits. It actually helped prepare the ex football player for his current job as a sports commentator, getting him comfortable in front of the camera.

While he’s grateful for the experience, it’s clear Palmer won’t be appearing on the Bachelor again.
