The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Lisa VanderPump’s Not So Happy Holiday

January 04, 2011 12:00 PM by Shayla Perry

It’s been a cah-razy holiday season for Lisa VanderPump of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! Not only was the Housewife robbed while staying at the SoHo Grand in New York City in November, but she and TV reporter, Robert Kovacik, were also attacked in Beverly Hills days before Christmas.

Things just don’t seem to work out well for Lisa VanderPump when she visits New York City. First, the whole Camille and Kyle blow-up, and then, four of her designer handbags were stolen from the SoHo Grand while she was in town filming for the show.

“I had four purses valued at just over $8,000 including two Christian Louboutins, one Louis Vuitton and one Channel. Those were my signature bags. Boy do I feel violated,” Lisa VanderPump told RadarOnline.

The Beverly Hills Housewife says that she took her complaint to the hotel’s management, but thinks that they’re giving her the runaround.

“They told me I should have put my purses in the room’s safe,” said VanderPump. “Come on, the safe wasn’t bug enough to fit a wallet inside. The room is supposed to be safe. Do they expect me to stick Giggy in the safe too?”

Not Giggy!

Lisa’s husband, Ken Todd, who was in New York City with her at the time, has also spoken to hotel management in an attempt to recover her handbags.

“They told me to contact their insurance department and I did,” Ken told RadarOnline. “The guys over there were complete morons. They told us they will not replace Lisa’s bags. I am so annoyed at this hotel and the way they treated us.

“It’s just an awful situation,” continued Ken. “It’s the principle. They stole from us.”

RadarOnline.com attempted to contact the SoHo Grand regarding Lisa VanderPump’s claims, but a member of the hotel’s management team declined to comment.

And the bad luck didn’t end there for VanderPump and her husband. Just days before Christmas, while dining at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills with friend and TV reporter, Robert Kovacik, Lisa VanderPump was approached by a drunken man making rude comments to her. (What is it with Lisa attracting such sketchy characters?!) When Kovacik asked the man to stop he was punched in the face.

After the attack, Lisa went with Kovacik to the Beverly Hills Police Department to file charges against their attacker.

No info has yet been released regarding the identity of the man that attacked Lisa VanderPump and Robert Kovacik.
