CBS Big Brother reality star Matthew McDonald admitted to pushing pills Monday and now faces considerable jail time. Keep reading for more details…

Season nine contestant Matthew McDonald pleaded guilty to charges of distributing oxycodone Monday, linking him to a “Big Brother” drug ring that also includes season nine winner Adam Jasinski, according to E! news.

E! news reports McDonald had previously pleaded not guilty to charges of distribution and possession with intent to distribute last April.

Co-star Jasinski admitted guilt in October. According to E!, the reality star was arrested in 2009 while trying to sell 2-thousand oxycodone pills to an undercover government witness. McDonald allegedly supplied the pills, E! says.

The two Big Brother stars are facing up to 20 years in prison for pleading guilty to the drug charges.

Jasinski’s sentencing is scheduled this Wednesday in a Massachusetts federal court. He is also pleading guilty for failing to file a tax return for his 2008 prize winnings of $50,000. This could result in a $1 million fine.

McDonald will stay behind bars until his sentencing in April.

He also has pending charges for claims that he beat up his girlfriend last April, to which he pleaded not guilty. Police arrested McDonald for allegedly beating up his pregnant girlfriend after an argument over a text from an old friend, E! reports.

According to the police report McDonald’s girlfriend filed, he accused her of cheating and strangled her saying, “I hope the baby dies and hope you have a miscarriage.”

McDonald told police his girlfriend actually attacked him and reportedly poured water on his plasma TV. He was released from jail and told to stay away from his girlfriend.

McDonald and Jasinski are not the first of the show’s contestants to be arrested. Big Brother stars just can’t seem to stay out of trouble.
