Former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas joined Extra for a viewing of the second episode of The Bachelor with returning leading man Brad Womack. See what she had to say about the show and how Womack’s changed since she was on The Bachelor…
According to Extra, former Bachelorette and Bachelor contestant DeAnna Pappas was surprised at how much Womack has changed since his first season as The Bachelor, when he notoriously dumped two of the final contestants, which included Pappas.
“I feel like I’m learning a whole new Brad here,” Pappas told Extra. “I do believe Brad is a changed man…Just from watching the show I’m getting to know a different person.”
Pappas told Extra Womack has said himself that he doesn’t know if anyone got to know the real him. Pappas said she thinks that’s what we’re seeing now on the second season: “the real Brad.”
Extra reports Pappas, fiancé Stephen Stagliano and Womack met at a Red Cross blood drive event tied to the show. Pappas said she saw a whole new side of Womack, realizing that he’s funny and never remembered him telling jokes before.
The engaged couple have no hard feelings towards Womack, according to Pappas who said: “We just hope that he’s in it for the right reasons and can find love the second time around.”
Who does Pappas see as a front-runner from the second episode? Emily. Pappas said she could be Womack’s final pick because his entire body language changes when he’s around her and he gets really shy.
As for Womack finding love this time around: Pappas said it’s too soon to tell. According to Pappas, producers want viewers to believe there’s a happy ending, but right now the couple would be in their “honeymoon phase” with their relationship just starting to grow.
