Former “Hills” star Heidi Montag turns down ABC’s Dancing With The Stars again. Keep reading to see why she won’t be appearing on the reality show despite being disappointed she didn’t get to the first time around…
According to Radar Online, Heidi Montag won’t be appearing on Dancing With The Stars because she’s scared of injuring her post-surgery body.
“I’m not sure if she wants to risk it now,”a source close to Montag tells Radar Online. “She already took an elbow from a dancer on the set of her song, ‘Overdosin’,’ and she’s scared of getting hurt.”
Montag was previously contacted to do the show, but wasn’t able to because of contractual agreements she signed for “The Hills.”
Radar Online’s source says Montag was very disappointed at the outcome after being excited about being on the show.
“She was devastated, she had even started training on the side,” the source tells the website.
According to Radar Online, the source says Montag’s agent pitched her to host Dancing With The Stars. The job went to Brooke Burke instead.
Though given a second chance as a contestant, the source says Montag won’t risk it.
Montag has lamented to Life & Style Magazine about the limitations of her new body, telling Life & Style: “I’m obsessed with fitness, but it’s impossible to work out with these boobs. It’s heartbreaking. I can’t live an everyday life.”
For Montag, not being able to live an everyday “celebrity” life includes dancing on the show.
The reality star had 10 notorious plastic surgery procedures in 2009 in her quest for the “perfect” body. According to PopEater, Montag told Jay Leno she’s “surgeried out” and is done for now.
