The Amazing Race: CBS Announces New Contestants For “Unfinished Business”

The Amazing Race is almost back! CBS has released the names of contestants who have some “Unfinished Business” with the show and will return to compete once again to reach the final destination and win the $1 million dollar prize. Keep reading to see who’s returning…
“The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business” will premiere next month and CBS has details on which fan favorites will be returning to the show.
“They were the teams that without a doubt have really captivated people’s attention within the last few years,” host Phil Keoghan says. “We’ve gotten them all here and we’ve said, ‘listen, you guys wanted a second chance – no excuses’.”
The eleven former teams set to give it their all again are a diverse group featuring the cowboys, former NFL cheerleaders, Harlem Globetrotters and the Goths.
This season they’ll travel 40,000 miles through five continents and 23 cities. New challenges will include swimming with sharks in Australia, measuring the length of the entire country of Liechtenstein while riding a motorized bicycle, and make it through a Mount Fuji spiritual ritual in Japan which involves freezing cold water.

Gary Ervin

Mallory Ervin

Why they’re returning for “Unfinished Business”: Gary and Mallory were unable to avoid elimination after getting lost in Oman for over nine hours.
LaKisha Hoffman
Age: 30

Occupation: Basketball Coach
Jennifer Hoffman
Age: 26
Hometown: Chicago, Ill., currently residing in Louisville, Ky.
Occupation: Assistant Volleyball Coach at the

Why they’re returning for “Unfinished Business”: LaKisha and Jennifer missed out on a spot in the final three by minutes after stopping to use the restroom in China.

Why they’re returning for “Unfinished Business”: Jet and Cord fell behind during the final leg and couldn’t recover, which ultimately led to a 2nd place finish to winners Dan and Jordan.

Why they’re returning for “Unfinished Business”: Amanda and Kris were unexpectedly u-turned in Siberia by Margie and Luke and were eliminated from the Race.

Why they’re returning for “Unfinished Business”: During the final leg, Jaime and Cara fell victim to a bad taxi driver in Hawaii and lost to Tammy and Victor.
