Live To Dance judge Paula Abdul recently appeared on television show, The Talk, and dished about her former American Idol co-stars. She panned Simon Cowell a few weeks ago when appearing on “Ellen” and compared him to fungus you can’t stay away from. This week, she was singing a different tune in her latest appearance.
Paula told The Talk hosts, “I still talk to all the guys. They are my extended family. I’ve never had any brothers and certainly got my full share of being bullied.” While Paula may still bash Simon, it sounds like a classic love/hate relationship experienced by many siblings.
Paula also discussed her current show, Live To Dance, which returned Paula to her first love of dance. “I’m overwhelmed by the whole process but it’s been a labor of love from the moment I came on board. I had a vision that I wanted to produce and it’s finally here. It’s out there. I’m doing it and it’s been fun mentoring the acts. They are all so diverse. It’s been lovely.” Last week, the audience was treated to clips of Paula mentoring all of the semi-finalists and giving them tips on their dancing. Paula and the other judges, Kimberly Wyatt and Travis Payne, seem to be having a great time watching the dancers and interacting with one another.Â
Live To Dance has one more semi-final round before the finale of the show. The finale will feature six acts, three chosen by the judges and three chosen by the audience. The winner will receive a $500,000 cash prize.
