The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Lisa VanderPump Asks Viewers Not to Judge Kyle Richards

January 22, 2011 03:30 PM by Shayla Perry

Though we learned that Lisa VanderPump went through a pretty bad altercation of her own after the season finale of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the Housewife took some time to comment on the shocking fight between sisters Kyle and Kim Richards, asking fans not to judge her dear friend and co-star, Kyle, and sharing how she felt when she watched the episode herself.

“The finale party was a complete disaster, particularly seeing Kyle’s frustration at constantly covering for her sister,” Lisa VanderPump wrote in her blog. “There’s a lot you the viewer don’t know and hasn’t been witness to, and I, as a very close friend who has been privy to the emotional turmoil and devastation that has occurred as a result of this type of situation, still am not fully aware of the path that these two sisters have taken.

“The one thing I ask of you as you read this is not to judge Kyle [Richards] too harshly as tempers flew. I am sure things that were said were instantly regretted too late…and those words don’t belong to her they belong to the world,” VanderPump wrote.

Lisa also notes that before watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season finale, she had no idea how bad things had gotten between Kyle Richards and her sister, Kim Richards.

“In the weeks that ensued it was very upsetting to see how everybody struggled to put their lives back together, feelings in tatters, feelings that reverberated through the family and friends like myself who hadn’t witnessed this devastating altercation, not quite understanding how far this situation had deteriorated to, trying to comprehend that was not an easy task. And when I saw this episode for the first time it cut me to the quick,” says VanderPump. “Tears rolled freely.”

And the tears continue to roll after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season finale!

Lisa I think your amazing!!! I understand Kyle may feel bad and im sorry for that but it just looked so bad on tv…..they mad it look like Kyle was cold hearted to her sister. Kyle is definetly stronger than her sister by light years. I think Kim is very weak but I dont think Taylor should be left off the hook. I think she is very sneaky and Kyle better watch out cause Taylor wants the happiness she has and someone like that will get at her husband if the opportunity arises.

I love both Kyle and Kim Richards. They need to have each others back. Blood IS thicker than water and I cannot believe their mother would have wanted them at each other. She would have wanted them to support each other AND they should in every way no matter what. Listen to Adrienne and Lisa. They are solid in every way. Kim and Kyle you have a lot going together. Keep it that way or realize that you each have a lot going for you (no matter what has been in the past) and believe in yourselves. Love to you.

Well, if u watched all the shows this past season, u will see for yourself that Taylor is the trouble maker and u can’t believe a word she says, such a liar she is. Lisa hit the nail on the head with her. As far as Kyle, she needs to stop siding with her friends and be there more her sister Kim. Kyle worries too much about what her friends think about her than her sister. Sorry, Kyle is self cenetered. Lisa, love her and Adrienne. Taylor needs to appoligize to Kim and stay out of her life and leave Kim alone, she is the one that has caused all the friction on the show. All families have problems, but when u have outsiders interferring it is desester. Kim is alone and has it harder that any of them. She only wants to be loved by her sister, Kyle. Kyle, u forget who took care of your family growing up, it was Kim. Where is your compassion and gratitude to her for that? Sorry, after I watched this season, I am not so much a Kyle fan and diffentely not a Taylor fan. Lisa and Adrienne are the voices of reason and the most level headed on the show. These are just my feelings as a viewer.

Isn’t it prudent to think before you open a big fat mouth? I think the end of this last of season truly shows herself for what she is, a snotty yelling bitch.

Lisa I dont understand why you desperately want to be friends with Kyle inspite of her bad behavior. Being the oldest on the show one would think you would know better.
I dont care what Kim does behind the scenes. There is simply no excuse for Kyle to treat her sister soo badly. She is abusive towards her and all she ever does is put her down and you a mother of two sits by and encourage it. If Kyle were your daughter & Kim were your son would you encourage Kyle to behave that way towards your son? It is obvious kim has problems but the way to deal with it is not by putting her down & trying to control her. She may be weak but in my opinion she is a good hearted and wise person. You all with the exception of Adrienne blamed her for not standing up for kyle. Is she supposed to stand up for her inspite of her bad behaviour? Camille accused kyle of saying something. If she did’nt say it “a simple i dont recall saying that & incase you misunderstood me i’m sorry” would have sufficed. She did’nt have to become verbally abusive to her by saying all those rude things. Camille may have her own problems but at least she did’nt insult anybody. I think Kim showed maturity by not saying anything even though she disagreed with her sister’s actions & waited for Camille to leave before she said what she really had to say. I am not sure Kim would’ve done the same had the roles been reversed.
You sit there and act so self righteous as though you know better but I really dont think u do. Kim was right in saying you and Taylor are the engineers of all this. All you seem to care about is your friendship with Kyle. If you were a sincere and straight person as you pretend to be you would have told Kyle where she was in the wrong instead of supporting her inspite of her bad behaviour. What were you hoping to achieve when you asked taylor to go and speak to Kim? And worst of all you joined Kyle & Taylor in ganging up on Kim when the argument got out of hand.
Adrienne is the only sensible mature woman on the show. Camille and Kim have their issues but i think at the route of it all they are good people. You, Kyle and Taylor are like a bunch of mean teenage cheerleaders who wont let anyone else in your camp.
I hope u will spend sometime reflecting on your actions & come back better people on the next season. If Kyle is your friend then encourage her to get help with her anger & jealousy issues.
I know you probably have a lot of shallow people telling u & Kyle how great you are but remember there are’nt too many WISE people left in the world.
