Last night on Worst Cooks in America on Food Network we watched as two recruits switched teams, did horribly at the main dish challenge for their new team, but did not get eliminated despite the fact that both of them landed in the bottom. In a post episode blog, Anne Burrell and Robert Irvine share why they eliminated Anna and Erika. Keep reading for more details!

Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America Anne Burrell eliminated Erika from her team last night. Personally, I thought she should have gone home weeks ago, but last night most of us thought Kat should have been eliminated since she did so poorly and even more so even Robert Irvine pawned her off on to Anne. After the show, Anne did not share why she made her choice, all she had to say were positive things about Erika as she blogged “At first, I wasn’t taking her seriously. She started out making the bologna quesadilla and drawing hearts and flowers with spray cheese on Saltines. And then she actually got a lot better. She buckled down but would revert back sometimes. Erika actually did transform herself a lot.”

So what about Anna? She looked as though she was getting better each week, yet Robert chose to send her packing last night, despite his new recruit Kelsey’s awful main dish challenge. Robert Irvine said “Olive Oil Anna. She’d put a gallon of olive oil in everything. She’s Italian and her mother told her she’s not married because she doesn’t know how to cook. Her mother, a great Italian cook, wouldn’t let her in the kitchen. Anna got her act together and was pretty good by the end. She did very well; she got her station clear and she would work well, but then she’d mess it up, overcooking and over-seasoning. We had the one-on-one meal together. Oh, it was awful.” For the full blog on what Anne and Robert had to say, be sure to check out Anne and Robert’s Food Network Blog.
