FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares premiered it’s third season last week as Gordon Ramsay visited New Jersey to help save the Spanish Pavillion and so far the series is bringing success for FOX in the ratings. Keep reading for more details!
Kitchen Nightmares season three debut on FOX last Friday evening has proved to be a success for the network. FOX topped the series finale of CBS’s long-running drama “Medium” with a rare Friday victory, airing the night’s two top-rated shows. Fox, who has been fighting to stay in the Friday evening ratings for a long time now, airing everything from drama’s to comedies averaged a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating and 6 share, according to Nielsen overnights, the network’s best non-sports Friday night since September 2008, double its season average on Fridays, and 36 percent ahead of No. 2 ABC, which averaged a 1.4/5.
Kitchen Nightmares also scored 36% above it’s last new Friday evening episode which aired back in May of 2010. Now the question is was it luck or will it remain on top of the ratings chart? Hopefully Kitchen Nightmares will continue to pull great ratings for FOX so we can be sure there will be many new seasons! Did you tune in to the premiere of Kitchen Nightmares?
