January 26, 2011 04:00 PM by Lori Wilson

The second season of The Fashion Show ended with Jeffrey producing the Ultimate Collection. After he collected his thoughts for a bit, the overwhelmed Seattle native, who currently resides in Brooklyn, shared his reaction to winning the Bravo reality show in a video on the show’s site. Keep reading to find out how Jeffrey took the honor in.

“I cannot believe it. Like I literally won his challenge,” Jeffrey marveled. “I won this challenge. I am completely excited. It’s the best feeling in the world. I’ve come so far and I really feel that I deserve to be here. I was standing on the stage and I was shocked. I feel like I could just fall to the floor. I feel like a weight is gone. I feel like I could just sail. Like I could just fly.”

Of seeing his collection go down the runway, Jeffrey reflected, “Watching my show is just completely emotional for me. It was a reflection of me being raised by such a strong woman. I could just feel that my mother’s spirit was with me.” He continued on describing what it was like to win The Fashion Show Ultimate Collection, “It is just such a monumental moment that I was so present in. I couldn’t even breathe. I kept forgetting to breathe and all I could do was cry. I’m like hugging Iman, hugging Isaac and I’m already teary eyed and my family comes up and I could not stop crying. I could not stop hugging them. My dad’s crying, my sister’s crying, my cousin’s crying. She’s screaming, we’re screaming. We’re jumping, we’re jumping. All the cast members are here and they’re all so supportive and I know that my mother is so proud of me. She is so proud of me.”

“Being in this competition I could just tell my dreams were just getting closer and closer and closer,” he choked out through tears. “And I really feel like a winner and that’s just that.”

So, now that’s Jeffrey’s won the second season of The Fashion Show, what’s next? “Even thinking about the prizes of winning $125,000 and winning a spread in Harper’s Bazaar is mind blowing,” he mused. “I’m going to step back and really assess the situation and really see the best way to spend this money properly so it can really be that seed that really starts my collection, for me to be my own designer and to really have that store where people can come and take a piece of me home to their closet.

“I’m going to really take on that challenge of being the best designer that I can be,” he predicted. “I’m gonna be going consulting with Isaac. I’m gonna to be going to J. Mendel. I’m going to be conversing with the top dogs. I’m going be flying with eagles and I’m really excited.”
