If you love the new judging panel on American Idol on FOX, you will be interested to know that we may see a duet this season with Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler! In a recent interview, Jennifer admits that they been approached about the idea and she would consider singing with Steven. Keep reading for more details!
American Idol ‘s Jennifer Lopez revealed in a recent interview with MTV that the show’s executive producer Nigel Lythgoe has asked the duo to perform together on an upcoming live show and she admitted that she would consider doing it – if the song is right. Jennifer told MTV “It could be so fun. And Steven and I have a real love for each other. We really respect each other, but it needs to be the right song, the right moment. It could be good.”
So it must be safe to assume the pair get along well? When asked about Steven Tyler, Jennifer had this to say “He’s a very spontaneous person in that sense. You never know what’s going to come out of his mouth, and probably half the show is me kind of looking at him like, ‘What? Did he just say what I think he just said?’ It’s very funny, but I enjoy every second of it – every second of the zaniness and craziness. You never know with him, and it’s awesome.”
That wraps up the Nashville auditions, be sure to tune in next Wednesday at 8 pm EST for more auditions in Texas on American Idol on FOX!
