According to ET Online “The Bachelorette” host Chris Harrison won’t reveal the exact date of Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez’s wedding, but he does say the two are still very involved in planning for it.
“They are still very much planning a wedding,” Chris tells ET Online. “The date, if it is set, I will let them break to you. I would be a horrible person if I broke someone else’s wedding news.”
While he’s not revealing much about Ali and Roberto’s wedding plans, Chris does say he’d love to see them get married on TV, but that, of course, is up to the couple.
“Selfishly, I would love showing that,” he tells ET.
Chris thinks “Bachelorette” fans would appreciate a televised wedding as well.
“I think people like to see the whole circle being completed and these love lives continue to play out…And for Ali and Roberto … we saw them fall in love. We would love to see them continue and get married on TV. I think it is the natural progression and our fans are going to demand it.”
Fans might “demand” a televised wedding, but Ali and Roberto would have to make that decision.
While Chris is rooting for a TV wedding, he tells ET the couple’s relationship has survived so far because they have gotten out of Hollywood and stayed out of the limelight.
“They have gone to events and all that, but they are living in San Diego. Jason and Molly are living up in Seattle and Ryan and Trista in Vail, CO. They have gotten away from it and they are living their lives.”
Do you think the couple will still go for a televised wedding?
The current season of “The Bachelor” airs at 8/7c on ABC.
