Worst Cooks In America: Anna Altomari Talks About Her Experience And Robert Irvine

January 28, 2011 08:00 AM by Lisa Princ

Fans of the blue team on Worst Cooks in America on Food Network were a little disappointed this week to see early favorite Anna Altomari get sent home by Robert Irvine after she failed to deliver on the main dish challenge. We heard what Robert Irvine had to say about Anna, but now we get to hear what Anna had to share about Robert as well as her experience on the show. Keep reading for more details!

Worst Cooks in America‘s blue team front runner was eliminated this week and while she had a blast on the show, she also shares that things were not always peachy between she and chef Robert Irvine as she tells in a post elimination interview “Chef Robert was so awesome. He taught me how to use a knife properly… but we fought about olive oil vs. grapeseed oil.” Wow, oil? Who would have guessed as she seemed to drench her foods in oil and that was one of chef Robert’s biggest complaints about her.

Anna Altomari, who claims although she did make her first omelet when she went home, says she is probably going to be too busy to continue cooking and learning at home – what a shame because she sure showed potential on the show. She also shared that she knew she would be going home as she said “My dish looked good; the only thing that didn’t make it on the dish was the sauce. I knew though from the end of the challenge it would be me to go home. I was tearful the whole night even past elimination. The cast was like family and I was leaving.” For the full interview, be sure to check out Anna Altomari exit interview. What did you think of Anna? Should have gone home or stuck around a bit longer?
