Radar Online reports a source confirms rumors that “The Bachelor Pad” is officially back for a second season.
According to the website’s source, ABC has begun casting for the new season of “The Bachelor Pad” and already sent out casting notices to former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” cast members.
“If you’re on the invite, then you’re in the running to become a contestant on ‘Bachelor Pad ,” a source tells Radar Online.
The source also tells the magazine 65 previous contestants have already responded to the invite and are going to a New York casting event which will be held on Jan. 30.
The source says Next Entertainment, the production company, will follow the casting party in New York with similar ones in Los Angeles and Chicago.
According to Radar Online, the invite says the casting party will be an on-camera event with an open bar. Contestants are asked to dress in cocktail attire.
“Everyone has to sign a waiver of release so they can be on camera and they plan to air the footage in the current season of The Women Tell All,” says Radar Online’s source.
According to Radar Online’s source, the producers have certain characters in mind when it comes to casting.
“The producers are trying to pick their characters and come up with the cryer, the drunk and the angry contestant,” the source says.
So when can you expect the show to return?
Radar Online’s source says the show has no definite air date yet, but is sure shooting will begin in the Spring.
