Radar Online reports a source confirms rumors that “The Bachelor Pad” is officially back for a second season.

According to the website’s source, ABC has begun casting for the new season of “The Bachelor Pad” and already sent out casting notices to former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” cast members.

“If you’re on the invite, then you’re in the running to become a contestant on ‘Bachelor Pad ,” a source tells Radar Online.

The source also tells the magazine 65 previous contestants have already responded to the invite and are going to a New York casting event which will be held on Jan. 30.

The source says Next Entertainment, the production company, will follow the casting party in New York with similar ones in Los Angeles and Chicago.

According to Radar Online, the invite says the casting party will be an on-camera event with an open bar. Contestants are asked to dress in cocktail attire.

“Everyone has to sign a waiver of release so they can be on camera and they plan to air the footage in the current season of The Women Tell All,” says Radar Online’s source.

According to Radar Online’s source, the producers have certain characters in mind when it comes to casting.

“The producers are trying to pick their characters and come up with the cryer, the drunk and the angry contestant,” the source says.

So when can you expect the show to return?

Radar Online’s source says the show has no definite air date yet, but is sure shooting will begin in the Spring.

TO THE PRODUCER..WHY DON,T YOU GUY,S TRY MAKING A BACHELOR ON A REAL AVERAGE GUY THAT,S NOT RICH AND ALL ABOUT MONEY.
JUST A NORMAL WORKING SINGLE GUY.BECAUSE THERE ARE SOME OF US WHO WOULD LOVE TO DATE THESE WOMAN WHO SAY THEY ARE REALLY LOOKING FOR THERE SOULMATE AND JUST MAYBE IF THAT,S WHAT THERE REALLY LOOKING FOR THEY WON,T HAVE TO WORRIE SO MUCH ABOUT GETTING REJECTED.FROM WHAT I GATHER THESE WOMAN ARE NOT IN LOVE WITH THE PERSON THERE INLOVE WITH THE MONEY AND BEING IN A POPULARITY CONTEST. HOW ABOUT SOMEONE WHO,S NOT RICH? DO YOU THINK THESE WOMAN WOULD REALLY CONSIDER WANTING TO MEET A REAL REALITY NORMAL WORKING GUY? OR IS IT TRULY ALL ABOUT FINDING THE RICH GUY AND NOT THE POOR GUY.OR IS IT THAT THE REALITY IS THERE JUST GOLD DIGGER,S. THANK,S FOR YOUR TIME.

I do not agree with Ronnie’s comment about producing episodes about an average person.
Only a mature, talented, accomplished and gentleman like Brad Womack can pull amazing scenes after scenes. Brad has the best qualities than any regular men could ever dream of in their life times. My prediction at this time is Chantal and Emily. Both women seem genuine and sincere. They are certainly not pretending to love you but are emotionally capable of being a caring wife unlike that back staber Michelle. I dont know what Michelle is still around for! She is just like an eccentric mole who reports any bit of information to the Brad’s wallet instead of supporting him every step of the way!

I think you should have a bachelor/bachelorette show with the “older” generation (50′s, 60′s). There are many baby boomers that are extremely active, fit, interesting, and single. I remember a show called “who wants to marry my dad” that I thought was very fun to watch. This time you could have a woman bachelorette in the older age group. This type of show I think would be very appealing. Thanks!

I am glad to see Bachelor Pad coming back. When it first started last season, I didn’t think I would like it, but after a couple episodes, I found myself hooked. It’s fun to get to see the castoffs competing again. I am happy it has been renewed!

Are there no men over 50 who could be on this show? “Marry My Dad”? His kids are all out of college and their teeth are straight! Some of them have their own kids! They are voting age now!
I’m not skinny and athletic, but I could make life very interesting for any man who is on the Bachelor show. Where do I sign up?
