Who can forget season ten winner of The Biggest Loser on NBC Patrick House since we just watched him win less than two months ago. Now Patrick is making headlines again as he was recently involved in a fundraiser for children – in which he was involved in eating. Keep reading for more details!
The Biggest Loser‘s season ten winner Patrick House was recently his hometown hero as he helped raise money for children. Patrick served as one of the judges for the Chili for Children cook off in Vicksburg. Chili gurus and novices alike lined up and paid an entry fee to place their chili in the contest. All the proceeds went to the Warren County Children’s Shelter. The shelter, which opened in 1991, center still relies heavily on private donations to help manage the 24-hour emergency shelter for abused, neglected, runaway, and homeless children.
So what did Patrick have to say about his position to taste all the chili – hopefully it’s all healthy chili! While it’s something you would likely see a past winner doing, Patrick assures that it’s nothing as he says “I’m one of the judges here today so I’m going to be sampling everybody’s chili, you know, just a small bite for me, not much, but trying everybody’s chili and trying to find out a winner.” I can’t help but wonder how much he will have to workout though to burn off all those samples! Kudos to Patrick for getting involved!
