The Biggest Loser on NBC is back tonight for a brand new episode and we’ll see Cara Castronuova and Brett Hoebel finally get to workout their team in the gym alongside Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels. We’ll also get our share of drama tonight as the teams go back versus red (formerly blue) and two players switch teams. Keep reading for more details on tonight’s exciting episode!
The Biggest Loser kicks off tonight with the announcement that the teams will going black versus blue, or actually black versus red this time in lieu of Valentine’s day – the unknowns would be the red team and the ranch players would make up the black team. But that wouldn’t be all, the players would quickly learn from Ali Sweeney. They would also be facing a temptation challenge tonight filled with Valentine’s chocolates! Each player would enter the room alone with the chocolates and then decide whether or not he or she would eat any. The person who consumed the most chocolates would get the choice to either swap two players between teams or keep the teams the way they were – and the best part is that it would anonymous, no one would know who ate the most or made the decision.
One by one believe it or not many of the players on both teams started to eat the chocolate in attempt to keep their teams the way they were. We saw Rulon eat a few, Marci ate a few, Moses ate over 20 of them in an attempt to keep his team together and we saw Arthur shoveling candy in his mouth, eating 35 in total. In the end, Ali announced that she spoke to winner in private and that Jay and Jen would moving to the red team and Deni and Sarah would be heading to the black team. The black team was irate that the red team took their two strongest players – or at least they thought so. That was until Arthur stepped up an admitted that he was the one who ate the chocolates as he claimed he did not trust Jay and Jen and knew that he or his dad would the next to go home, therefore he was saving himself.
Then it was time to face Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels in the gym and when the black team filled them in on what happened they were not happy but assured Arthur all would ok, although he probably had a huge target on his back now. And just when all seemed peaceful who walks into the gym, but Cara, Brett and the red team who are now sharing the gym with the black team as well as Bob and Jillian. While there were no confrontations, Jillian made it known that the other team was afraid of her and Bob tried to calm his team down to works out effectively with the distractions.
Next up on The Biggest Loser, it was time for a red versus black challenge. In this challenge, the teams would be broken up into teams of two to see how well they could work together. Ali advised the it consisted of 5 tasks and asked that each team choose who would be doing what task, but when she then filled them in on the exact tasks, they were not what the players imagined. The teams of two would have to roll a boulder blindfolded, then the next team would have to build a 6 foot wall, followed by arranging 5 meals in order of calories. But it didn’t end there, they would then send their next team of two to shoot a bow and arrow and finally to cross over some logs without falling off. The winner of the challenge would be rewarded with videos from home. It seemed to be neck in neck most of the challenge, until the red team fell behind in the calorie part of the challenge, they just could not seem to get it right no matter what they did. The black team ended up winning the challenge and getting the videos from home which they sat and watched with Bob and Jillian.
Then it was time for the weigh in, and it would be the entire team’s weight loss that counted tonight and from now on. This is how our black and red teams fared at this week’s weigh in:
331 to 317 for a total loss of 14 lbs
232 to 218 for a total loss of 14 lbs
326 to 316 for a total loss of 10 lbs
321 to 307 for a total loss of 14 lbs

292 to 282 for a total loss of 10 lbs
195 to 190 for a total loss of 5 lbs

Total team loss of 97 lbs (3.43%)
210 to 201 for a total loss of 9 lbs
222 to 212 for a total loss of 10 lbs
444 to 435 for a total loss of 9 lbs
257 to 246 for a total loss of 11 lbs
275 to 265 for a total loss of 10 lbs
200 to 187 for a total loss of 13 lbs
224 to 208 lbs for a total loss of 16 lbs
210 to 201 for a total loss of 9 lbs
216 to 204 for a total loss of 12 lbs

With that said, the black team has the higher percentage of weight loss and would be safe from elimination tonight. The red team would have to vote someone off with the exception of Jen, who had the highest percentage of loss on her team rendering her safe. While Jen was worried that her dad would be voted off, it was almost unanimous that Q would the one voted off tonight due to his lack of work and weight loss. Q is back home now with Larialmy and continues his healthy lifestyle at home. To date Q has lost over 90 lbs and counting and hopes to be a lot smaller by the finale. We shall see!
