American Idol: Clint Jun Gamboa Audition
February 10, 2011 08:11 AM by Christine McDow
Clint Jun Gamboa came in to audition for American Idol looking a bit different from the other contestants. The judges were a bit iffy and figured he wouldn’t have a good voice. However, they were surprised and sent him through to Hollywood week! Will he have what it takes to make it into the top 40 though? Keep reading to see for yourself.

This guy was SOOOOO mean to Jaycee tonight- how can you be so cruel to a 15 yr old, to kick him off your group at 1 am?!?!?! Doesn’t this guy understand that public perception of you is half the battle on Idol?!?!? I hope he is gone in a week, what a terrible person!

These hopefuls are trying to do what is best for them. Gamboa felt Jacee, although a very good singer, did not fit in the group. Jacee looked for another group and Gamboa, Jacee, et al succesfully made it in their final respective group. Perhaps, if Gamboa did not ask Jacee to look for another group and sticked it out with the rest, there could have been a disastrous result. God works in mysterious ways, sometimes. Let’s thank Gamboa instead for his educated intuition.
