Survivor is starting in just a few more days and there is an exciting first for the show and network. CBS has announced that for the first time ever the entire premiere will be sponsored by one vendor, Sprint. Keep reading to find out what is going to happen during the premiere of Survivor: Redemption Island.
During the premiere of Survivor expect to see a lot of Sprint. In fact, during each of the four commercial breaks in the premiere episode will feature a “Survivor: Redemption Island ‘What If? Moment’ Presented by Sprint,” a series of 60-second vignettes spotlighting a popular former Survivor’s tactical game. The vignette will recap the alliances they made and betrayed, their eventual elimination and how their strategy might have been altered if they knew they had a second chance at redemption. Each vignette will be followed by a traditional 30-second Sprint commercial.
Not only will there be a lot of looking back at past Survivor seasons, but there will be MORE Survivor during the premiere than normal. Having Sprint sponsor the show exclusively means that there will be more time to get to know the new Survivor contestants, and find out what Russell and Boston Rob have been up too.
