Tom Forman, creator of the ABC hit reality television series, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, will try to make more television magic with his new series, Coming Home. Tom will share executive producing duties with Star Price (The Amazing Race), and the series host will be none other than former American Idol finalist, Matt Rogers (he made it to the top twelve in season three), who also helmed the reality show, There Goes the Neighborhood.
Have the tissue box at the ready, as this latest effort promises to be every bit as emotional as Extreme Makeover Home Edition, if not more so!
Coming Home will honor American armed forces personnel and their families by following unforgettable and inspiring surprise reunions of military men and women with their spouses, children, parents, and loved ones upon returning home from active duty. Each of the thirteen episodes of Coming Home will highlight five reunions along with the families’ stories.
The new series will debut on Lifetime Television network on Sunday March 6 at 10:00 PM EST. It will follow the fifth season premiere of the popular Lifetime series, Army Wives, which follows the struggles, dreams and friendships of several women and one man who live with their families on an active army post.
