American Idol season eight finalist, Scott MacIntyre, who won over viewers as he was the first ever blind contestant on the show has some good news to share – he and his lady love have gotten engaged. 25 year old Scott and his fiancee, Christina Teich are planning to wed sometime later this year. The couple is scheduled to make their first public appearance together this Thursday at the first ever Idol Prom (or what used to be the American Idol top 24 party) at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
Scott MacIntyre, who finished in eight place back in season eight of American Idol was thrilled to share the news of the couple’s engagement on his Facebook and Twitter account as he posted “Ok guys… I have an announcement to make…This is big news… It’s official.. I’m engaged.” Congratulations to Scott and Christina, we look forward to all the details of your upcoming wedding!
